I absolutely recommend Debbie. my dog is a Cypriot street dog who had never been in a house before we collected him on 01/12/24.He was scared of his own shadow, first night saw his reflection in the greenhouse and bolted, pulling me over and I cracked a rib. Now we were both scared. We started work with Debbie 5 weeks ago, once a week and now he's a happy dog, got good manners, and has fun

Today he was running through an agility tunnel and up on the trampoline and both our confidences have recovered. She's amazing

Debbie really helps me with lots of advice with my Border Collie puppy. She has lots of knowledge and experience and gives me many solutions to issues i’m having. We went for a training session and she made sure i understand every task we did so i could carry on the training at home. Even after the training session i had some more problems come up that i wasn’t sure how to deal with but it was no issue at all for Debbie to sit down with me and talk it through. I was struggling and sought Debbie's help and advice on brain games & calming activities for my bouncy, adolescent labradoodle. She knew exactly what was needed, and I was able to relax, enjoy and control my gorgeous boy's antics!

Sadly, "old and arthritic" is a gang I can't join out of, and I knew I couldn't continue to meet the needs of a frolicking young Doodle. With Debbie's unwavering and non judgemental support I was able to have some extra, precious time with my boy until he joined his wonderful forever family via Doodle Rescue.

We rescued Benji from Doodle Rescue 3 months ago. He had a bite history and had been surrendered into rescue at just over a year old. A good wait in rescue had left him with some considerable behaviour problems. Debbie guided and nurtured Benji for three months and trained him to become the wonderful boy he is now. Debbie has taken her time to support us over the settling in period and has offered us great advice and coping strategies as he has relaxed into our home.

Debbie teaches kind caring training that is straight forward and rewarding for both dog and owner. I would absolutely recommend her as our boy is just 2 1/2 years old, his listening and responding is commented upon regularly. He is giddy from time to time but still just a baby really. When gently guided he responds willingly wanting only to please. We have never felt Benji was going to bite us. Please don't be deterred by a bite history. Under Debbie's guidance and support you will be rewarded with a loving, happy dog who enhances your every day.

Debbie fostered our dog and was part of the screening panel before we adopted him in 2021 through Doodlerescue.uk Ted was extremely anxious when he came into her care and she rehabilitated him with love and kindness, with the help of her 2 gorgeous dogs Ted was able to thrive and become the wonderful family dog he is today. We were so blessed to be chosen to be his forever home and she has given us so many valuable training tips and advice as we’ve progressed through this journey of adoption. I would highly recommend Debbie for any behavioural concerns or help with any training. I have seen, first hand, a dog that Debbie has rehabilitated and what an incredible transformation. This dog was terrified of human contact and wouldn't even make eye contact with us initially. She had been let down by humans and had no faith. She didn't play or even actually like a dog for some time. Debbie put her whole heart, time and energy into rehabilitating her. She is now a dog that plays, wags her tails and greets people. I have never seen such a beautiful transformation.

Debbie has fostered and rehabilitated many of our more troubled dogs. These dogs cross her threshold and exhale - they sense they are safe in her care. Her gentle, positive, dog-centric and FUN approach to training builds trust in even the most traumatised dogs. She gives these dogs their lives back - and what wonderful lives they have gone on to live, thanks to her! Debbie also volunteers her time to support our fosterers and adopters with any issues which may arise, as well as providing advice to owners who may be considering relinquishing their dogs because they are struggling with aspects of their dog's behaviour or training. In February 2023, Debbie spoke in Parliament on behalf of Doodle Rescue (and was a "lone voice" for small volunteer run rescues in general) at the APDAWG All Party Parliamentary Meeting on "The State Of UK Rescue".

We are incredibly blessed to have Debbie's support. She is incredibly passionate about strengthening the bond of trust and engagement between owners and their dogs through positive communication and a mutual understanding, achieved using very enjoyable and rewarding activities and interactions.
